Today was an incredible day… Not only did I spend the day with one of our amazing couples, but I was able to photograph them at the most beautiful locations in this beautiful state I call home. The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek is truly one of the most unique and stunning places I’ve ever experienced. Situated on over 600 acres in the Smoky Mountains sits a vineyard that contains stunning views of the surrounding mountains, tons of photo opportunities and buildings that are over 100 years old. When Brooke and Andrew told me they had chosen to have their wedding here I checked it out online, but nothing could have prepared me for how truly breathtaking the vineyards are. Seriously – it’s worth the drive just to experience it.
Andrew + Brooke spent the day with the people that loved them the most – their closest friends and family. After a picture-perfect ceremony overlooking the mountains, we spent time with family and their bridal party, but then took off to their reception! What a party – from the food to the dancing, nothing was overlooked. After speeches, cake cutting and first dances – it was time to party! Andrew + Brooke danced the night away with their friends, but just before sunset I stole them away for a few portraits to capture the best day of their lives. After sunset romantics the couple danced their last dance and left by way of sparklers.
Today was simple and classic, but oh-so beautiful!
Andrew + Brooke: I am so incredibly thankful and honored to have been a part of your wedding journey and cannot wait to share all of your images with you soon over milk and cookies at the studio! Enjoy your tropical honeymoon and soak in every moment of your first few weeks as newlyweds! Congrats!
