Today marks the last post in our six-part series on “Finding YOUR Perfect Photographer” and I’m excited to be sharing it with you! We’re talking about the value that working with your perfect photographer can truly add to your wedding experience. Everyone knows that a talented photographer has the ability to make your images aesthetically more pleasing and will know how to best capture you in your most flattering form, and that is definitely something that will add value to your wedding images… But another aspect to truly understand about who you choose to work with is the added value they will give to not just your images, but your entire experience.

We have covered this in previous article portions, so I’m not going to go into great detail, but let’s recap just a little. 

1 – Of all your vendors, you will spend more “face-to-face” time with your photographer than just about anyone else on your wedding day. We’re there for every moment to capture it, and by default you’re going to see us quite often… so you REALLY need to make sure you like your photographer or you’re going to pretty much hate the “photo taking” process.

2 – Having someone that understands who you are and what’s most important to you will not only mean that your images reflect YOU better, but it also means you will enjoy the process of capturing those images as well. (And when you enjoy the process, you’re relaxed. And when you’re relaxed you’re more genuinely who you actually are. And when you’re genuine that’s when who you truly are can be captured. And when who you are is captured the photos are their absolute best!)

3 – When you can find a photographer that you truly like, you’ll open up and be yourself. When you open up and express who you are the photographer has the opportunity to capture the REAL you – the you that everyone knows and loves the most! It’s a pretty rad combo when all of these things come together… And this can only happen when you choose to work with YOUR perfect photographer! 

Part 6: ADDED VALUE

When you choose to work with a photographer as committed to your experience as they are to your images, you will add infinite value to your entire wedding! We all know that photographs are really the only thing left to remember your wedding by, and we also know that how your photographer chooses to capture your wedding will directly influence the way you and those closest to you remember the day in years to come. In addition to how beautiful and memorable your photos are, the experience you have surrounding the capturing of those images will also play a tremendous role in what you feel and remember when you look back over those photographs time and time again. No matter how beautiful your wedding photos are, if you did not enjoy the process of capturing them then you will never be able to enjoy them the way you deserve to.  

Selecting a photographer that will invest of themselves to make your entire wedding experience the best it can be is something that will only grow more valuable to you as the years pass. An experience-driven photographer is the most rewarding investment you can make toward your wedding.
